1.) Raster formats:
      -JPEG and JPEG 2000
      - and briefly RAW

2.) Vector can be any dimension independent of file size and in Raster the data describes the characteristics of each individual pixel.

1.) Eyeball

2.) The smaller the aperture the larger the amount of light gets in, and the higher the aperture is the lower amount of light gets in

3.)Aperture impacts Depth of Field by changing which area of the picture is sharper and more in focus than others.

1.)
A.) 1/250
B.) 1/160
C.) 1/250
D.) 1/320
E.) 1/200
F.) 1/250

A.) 1/50
B.) 1/50ish to 60ish
C.) 1/250
D.) 1/100
E.) 1/50
F.) 1/80

2.) -Shooting in Auto means both your SS and aperture are automatically set by the camera.
-Shooting in aperture prior means you set the aperture but the SS is still set by camera.
-Shooting in Shutter priority means you set the SS the camera sets aperture.
     - Shooting in Manual means you set both.

1.)Captures more, lets in more light.
2.)When there is lots of light use low.
3.)Use when you want ultra fast shoots, shot in high.

Aperture- 2.8,4,5.6,8,11,16,22

3 Advantages of shooting in RAW:  higher dynamic range
                                                          typically a propriety format
at least 8 bits per color

1 Disadvantage: not suitable w/ out processing

3 Advantages of shooting in JPEG: sharper
immediately suitable for printing posting, etc.
                                                         able to be manipulated

1 Disadvantage: lower in dynamic range

How much of the data does a RAW file retain when its captured by the camera?
         - ALL of the data.

What are some of the things that a RAW file enables a photographer to edit after the image is taken?
-white balance, contrast, highlights, shadows, colors and saturation.

What factors must a photographer consider when deciding to soot in RAW?
         - not all cameras have RAW, RAW files are larger than JPEG, you can convert RAW to JPEG but not the other way around.

Why would an aspiring professional photographer need to know how to work w/ RAW files?
-if they wanna compete w/ the best, they need to learn editing skills and develop the techniques that will enhance your photos
